How Adetio will be priced.
The model below is settled — the tiers, and everything each one includes. We are in closed hardening before public launch, and we would rather publish no figure than one we change later, so the amounts are confirmed the day we open.
Priced on monthly active users
You pay for people who actually signed in, not for seats you provisioned or connections you configured. Inactive accounts cost nothing.
No per-organisation or per-connection charges
B2B features are part of the product, not an upsell. Organisations, roles, SSO and SCIM are not metered separately — that pattern punishes exactly the customers who grow.
Security is never behind a paywall
Passkeys, MFA, breach-password and bot protection are on every tier, including free. Strong authentication is the product, not an add-on.
Prices in euro, billed in the EU
No currency-conversion surprises and no invoice from another jurisdiction. Overages are capped and shown before they apply.
Billed on monthly active users — a unique user who authenticates at least once in a month. Prices in EUR, excl. VAT. Passkeys and MFA are free on every tier. Final figures are confirmed at launch; waitlist members see them first, and early-access accounts keep their launch rate.
Questions, answered plainly.
Why are passkeys and MFA free?
Strong authentication is foundational to how Adetio is built, not an upsell — so we don't gate passkeys or MFA behind a paid tier the way some US competitors do.
How is MAU counted?
A monthly active user is a unique user who authenticates at least once in a calendar month. We never double-count a user across your apps in the same workspace.
What happens when I exceed my included MAU?
You're billed the per-MAU overage shown on your plan — transparent and metered, with a one-month grace period so your app never stops working while you decide.
Where is my data hosted?
In the EU by default — you choose Frankfurt (eu-central-1) or Paris (eu-west-3) at setup, and it stays there under EU law.
Can I self-host?
Not today — Adetio runs as a managed European cloud, because that is how we can guarantee the residency and security posture we advertise. If self-hosting is a hard requirement in your sector, talk to us: enterprise deployment options are shaped by exactly these conversations.
Can I leave?
Any time. Export your users — including password hashes — through a public API. Predictable pricing, no per-connection surprises, no lock-in.
