Subprocessors

the Adetio operating entity (to be published before launch) names every vetted provider it uses to deliver the service, with its jurisdiction and what data it touches. Most host data exclusively within the EU; where one has any dependency on infrastructure outside the EU/EEA, we say so below rather than leaving it out. We give 30 days’ notice before adding or replacing any subprocessor so you can object.

This document is provided in several languages for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the English version prevails.

Cloud hosting — Scaleway (France)

Scaleway SAS, a French company within the iliad group, hosts our primary compute, database, and storage exclusively in its Paris (fr-par) region. It is European-owned, keeps data resident in the EU, and gives us a strong barrier against extraterritorial legal demands. No customer personal data leaves the EU/EEA through this provider.

Transactional email & SMS

Scaleway SAS, the same French provider above, delivers sign-in codes, magic links, and account notifications on your behalf from its EU infrastructure. Only the minimum data needed to deliver each message is shared, and only within the EU/EEA.

Error monitoring & logging

We do not use a third-party observability provider today: application errors and access logs stay on our own EU infrastructure, scrubbed of unnecessary personal data. If we ever engage one it will be EU-hosted, and it will be named here 30 days before it starts.

Payments

Paid plans are not open yet, so no payment processor is engaged and none holds any of your data. When billing opens we will use an EU-regulated processor, name it here 30 days beforehand, and it will receive billing contact and payment details only — never your end users’ identity data.

Your right to object

We publish changes here and notify account admins by email at least 30 days in advance. If you reasonably object to a new subprocessor on data-protection grounds, contact privacy@adetio.eu and we will work with you in good faith, up to terminating the affected service.
